Bachelor's Faculty

UofTaxila Faculty Members

To help students navigate through complex application requirements, University of Taxila has a unique three-stage application process, which students can complete one stage at a time. If you already have the required documents for all the stages, you can complete all three stages in one setting. 

​

The deadline for all three application stages is 11:59 PM January 12th, 2024. Applicants must have completed all three stages of application by the deadline to be considered for an admission to the bachelor's degree program. If you have any questions on the admission and financial aid, please contact 09 94 000 1770 or admission@taxila.edu.mm within office hours from Monday to Friday. 

Assistant Professors

Applicants must have prepared the following documents and information to submit the stage one application. Click here for stage one application. 

  1. Applicant's Information - name, mobile, email, address etc.

  2. Parent's or Guardian's Information - name, mobile, email, address etc.

  3. Applicant's NRC (optional) - front and back scanned copies of national registration card

  4. Bank Statement - a minimum of 15,000,000 MMK either in applicant's or guardian's account

  5. Non-refundable application fee - the payment confirmation of 175,000 MMK 

Associate Professors

Applicants must have prepared the following documents and information to complete the stage two application. Click here for stage two application. 

  1. Application Essay - a 500-word essay with the title "Why Taxila?"

  2. Scholarship Essay - a 500-word essay with the title "The Myanmar of My Dream"

  3. Letter of Recommendation - a letter written by a teacher or an academic advisor

  4. Applicant's NRC (optional) - front and back scanned copies of national registration card

  5. Interview - either in-person or online interview with the admission committee

Professors

Applicants must have prepared the following documents and information to fill the stage three application. Click here for stage three application. 

  1. High School Completion or an Equivalent Certificate

    • Official GED Exam or Taxila Entrance Test (150 and above for each subject)​

    • GCE O-level or A-level (band 6 and above for each subject)

    • Matriculation Examination (65 and above for each subject) + Taxila Entrance Exam

  2. English Proficiency Test Score

    • IELTS (overall band 6.0 and above)

    • TOEFL (paper-based 525 or internet-based 70 and above)

    • Duolingo (95 and above)
